Contemporary art in the east

For some years now, east has regularly been an art gallery when artists present their works to the Hamburg art scene and the east audience.

The following exhibitions have already taken place in east:

TORSO RELOADED / FACE & FACADE

Nadine Dinter & Afsaneh Nagy

In the double exhibition, the Berlin photographer Nadine Dinter presents her motifs from the series TORSO RELOADED and photographer Afsaneh Nagy from Hamburg shows pictures from her series FACE & FACADE.

AFRICAN WATERS

Florian Wagner

During numerous helicopter flights over Africa's vast landscapes, many impressive photographs were taken, which Florian Wagner presents in an exhibition.

KAMIKAZE QUEENS

Using elaborate stencil techniques, layer after layer of paint is used to create detailed street art works that have long been socially acceptable and can no longer be found only on the street.

Tom Jacobi

The mirror-like surface of Bolivia's salt seas create perfect reflections that mirror the sky, cloud fornations and towering mountains.

Afsaneh Nagy

In several work steps using various techniques, the artist created atmospheric and mystical portraits with lots of black, silver and gold accents.

The colorful and dynamic graffiti by the artist, who is of German descent and lives in France, transmit energy and strength to the viewer.
