east Restaurant
With extraordinary rooms, which convince both in the totality and in the details and a diverse food and beverage menu, the east Restaurant grew since the opening of the east Hotel & Restaurant in 2004 to one of the hottest nightlife addresses in Hamburg and is still the destination of people from all over the world.
The east Restaurant with over 200 seats, high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a cozy vaulted ceiling is located in the time-honored building of a former iron foundry. Unplastered red brick, stained church glass and modern interior design by Chicago designer Jordan Mozer, give the large hall with its curved columns a special atmosphere.
Light installations and contemporary art of changing exhibitions give the ambience the final touch. Our guests take a seat in the great hall, in the secluded casemates or at the sushi counter, the impressive skills of the sushi masters in view.

east Sundowner Menu
This summer we are moving the restaurant outdoors and serving you - in addition to the evening menu - delicious dishes such as oysters, lobsters, Iberico beef, dessert and much more. Served from the chic Vlaze outdoor kitchen.
We recommend champagne, wines and summer cocktails from the east bar.
In good weather (from around 25°C) from 6.00 pm until sunset at DEDON Island.
We also serve the dishes from the Garden menu in the east restaurant, regardless of the weather.

Sushi-Restaurant
with Live Cooking
At the sushi counter, you sit in the front row and watch the nimble sushi masters prepare your rolls. With fresh ingredients and practiced handles, a complete sushi boat is loaded in a few minutes. See for yourself.
Steaks from Southbend Infrared Grill
The east brigade is happy about a very special highlight in the east kitchen - the US Southbend Grill. The grill from the USA cooks the meat at around 800°C. This sudden high temperature closes the pores of the food to be grilled, so that the meat remains juicy on the inside and forms a caramelized crust with a unique taste.
Dresscode
Please respect our dress code "casual elegant" and refrain from wearing sweatpants and jogging suits, sportswear, flipflops and overly casual clothing at breakfast and when visiting the restaurant and bar in the evening.

Choose from fresh bread, baked goods, muesli, fruit, sausage and cheese as well as vegetarian salads from the breakfast buffet.
Private Dining
The east Lounge is perfect for private events such as celebrations, lectures and private dining.
